A typical day at Storm in a D cup HQ starts with going through all new orders.
Late morning consists of...
Generally taking a trip to the warehouse to pick and pack the items of swimwear. Once we have printed out all the paperwork and labels, it's a hop, skip and a jump to the post office, laden with our carefully packed parcels which are sent off to various destinations around the world.
Afternoon consists of...
We try to get all this done by lunch time so the rest of the afternoon can be devoted to the design, manufacture and managing the global logistics of new collections.
Daily objective?
Storm in a D cup was created in 2004 to fulfil a desperate gap in the swimwear market for fashion conscious women who are D cup and above. Our daily objective is to provide unbeatable customer service for our exceptional brand.
Why did you choose swimwear as a design niche?
Cup sized swimwear is still a very niche market and being a small company we value the contact and feedback we get from our customers. Storm is all about creating beautiful shapes that celebrate curves in sexy and stylish swimsuits.
What would you recommend about swimwear design to a fashion graduate?
Everything....what's not to love? It's a fun, happy industry full of sunshine and beaches...and if you're really lucky you get to travel to glamorous destinations for photo shoots and trade shows!
