Emerging fashion design duo Levi Palmer and Matthew Harding are the latest recipients of the Cotton USA London Fashion Week sponsorship. The sponsorship scheme, which is entering its ninth year, recognises emerging talent in the fashion

industry, and has previous supported Louise Gray, Richard Nicoll, Meadham Kirchhoff, and PPQ.

As
part of the sponsorship, the duo will showcase their spring/summer 2013 collection for their men’s and women’s label palmer//harding at an exclusive cocktail presentation during London Fashion Week.

Palmer and Harding follow on from Louise Gray, who partnered with the cotton organisation for four seasons, and Cotton USA stated that they chose the duo for the award because of the heavy influence US cotton plays in their label.

Stephanie Thiers-Ratcliffe, International Marketing Manager of Cotton USA said: “We are delighted to be working with palmer//harding on their latest collection for London Fashion Week. We chose the duo for their talents - the understated elegance and classic simplicity of their work make them the perfect partner for Cotton USA.”

Commenting on the award, Matthew Harding said: “Cotton, particularly U.S. cotton, always features heavily in our designs, and the Spring/Summer 2013 collection will be no exception. It’s a fantastic material to work with - the quality and durability of U.S. cotton is second to none.”

Levi Palmer added: “The COTTON USA sponsorship is a fantastic. As emerging designers, this sponsorship is invaluable in helping us to nurture and grow our brand into a global business.”

The duo who met at Central Saint Martins in 2007 will present their collection within the Newgen Exhibition at Somerset House on September 15.
