Online retailer, Ebay, has just launched its new advertising campaign to accompany its Fashion Outlet section. A discount arm to Ebay’s fashion category and launched last April, Fashion Outlet sells items from brands such as Ted Baker,

Superdry and Jigsaw at up to 70% off.

Showcasing garments from fashion retailers including House of Fraser, Office and La Redoute, the campaign will feature autumn/winter collections under the strapline: “The clothes you love direct from the brands you love”.
Set to be a huge marketing drive for Ebay, the advertising campaign will feature in print, on billboards and in shopping centres across the UK, as well as on an accompanying Facebook page devoted to just the discount outlet.

Miriam Lahage, Vice President of Fashion for eBay, pointed out that the fashion category of the site is outpacing the market, with transaction volume growing 30 per cent year-on-year over 2010, with over four million customers visiting the site each month. “We’re attracting growing numbers of shoppers to our fashion category as consumers want to choose from a huge selection of products, from the brands they know and love, at great prices,” she explained. “Our latest campaign showcases the unique fashion offering available on our site - only on eBay can you get the combination of the biggest brands and the best of the high street, combined with that special vintage find, and that illusive top from last season.”
