Kim Winser, former chief executive of Aquascutum, Pringle of Scotland and Agent Provocateur, is launching her own womenswear line, which will be sold entirely online, marking her first e-commerce venture.

The fashion
label, Winser London, will official launch on February 15 is being aimed at women who are “looking for great pieces that work for more than just a season”, and is being fronted by model Yasmin Le Bon.

With simplicity, quality of the fabrics and yarn, and cut at the centre of the design, the debut collection features slouchy jumpers and wide-legged trousers, knitted jackets, wraps, fitted dresses, pencil skirts, and shirts, with the colours primarily neutral, mainly black, white and natural.

The venture has taken a year in development and will initially launch in the UK, with plans to expand at a later date, and will be sold online directly from its website, which currently is open for potential customers to register.

Commenting on her new luxury label, Winser said: “This project really excites me on so many levels, not only am I building a new fashion business with longevity in mind, it is also very personal to me because after my years in the fashion world, I have gained an understanding of what women want to wear.

“Winser London will support and style our customers through a relevant and evolving style agenda. Our collections are planned across the seasons and because we are dealing direct with the best suppliers, and no middle men, not only can we offer the highest quality but also we can deliver an evolving collection, with short lead times.”

Prices from the collection will start at 35 pounds and go up to 350 pounds, and will be available in sizes 8 to 16, with 18 available in many styles. In addition to e-commerce, the Winser London site will also feature editorial content, in the shape of a monthly Style Agenda edited by Vanessa de Lisle with guest writers each month.
