German label to make UK debut

German mainstream fashion label Riani is set to launch in the UK for autumn/winter 2012 and has appointed sales agent Finches Limited to represent its interests. Finches headed up by Managing Director, Chantelle Wilkinson, are renowned for

building German premium brands, which currently looks after the likes of Luisa Cerano and Max Mara, and is targeting 30 accounts for Riani’s UK debut.

The
German brand founded in 1978 by Jurgen Buckenmaier, started life as a small trouser collection, which has now developed into a coordinated separates collection is currently sold in more than 390 retail outlets across Germany as well as several international stores.

Riani, whose ranges includes jersey duffle coats, satin tops, Italian knitwear and motorbike pants, produces four collections per year, for spring, summer, autumn and winter, split into two delivery dates as well as one eveningwear collection a year.

In 2007, Martina Cruse joined Jurgen Buckenmaier as joint Managing Director, and has helped build the brand, which has wholesale showrooms in Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Russia, Canada, Spain, China and now the United Kingdom.
