John Lewis is to launch a second collaboration with Alice Temperley. The collection, called Somerset by Alice Temperley, will launch for spring 2013 featuring vintage lace, embroidery and silk tile print, finding inspiration from 1940s French Riviera

and St Tropez boho.

John Lewis’s
head of marketing for fashion stated: “It is important that we remind customers that this is an ongoing collaboration with Alice and that we will continue to add to the collection in the coming seasons. Our latest campaign for Somerset communicates a more laid back attitude for spring, which reflects the nature of the season and the range."

Key pieces include high-waisted trousers, a cropped mink Italian leather jacket, a long column dress in navy and ivory white silk and a cheesecloth playsuit in vintage floral. The collection will also feature 18 footwear styles and two wide-brim hats.

The label initially launched in John Lewis stores last year for autumn 2012 and became the retailer’s fastest ever selling brand. The collection will be available in all 29 John Lewis department stores.

The advertising campaign, shot by Tom Craig and featuring UK model Lily Donaldson, will launch on February 4 across UK national press, billboards and online.
