Karl Lagerfeld sets up shop on Regent Street

Lagerfeld London store ready to launch by spring 2014
Karl Lagerfeld is currently in a global expansion phase, like many other retailers, and has managed to secure a prime location for the flagship store. The 2,700 square foot store will be on the famous Regent Street, near the newly opened J.Crew flagship store and is set to open next year March.The Karl Lagerfeld flagship shop will offer the designers full range, including men's and women's ready to wear line, accessories, handbags, shoes and limited edition collections. The store's interior will be designed in Lagerfeld traditional monochromatic scheme, black and white, and will feature iPads built into display cases so visitors can see the collection online, take photos and leave online messages for Lagerfeld.
Similar to the new H&M New York Times Square flagship store's fitting rooms, Lagerfeld's changing rooms also allow customers the option to photograph themselves and share the images directly via social media.

The Karl Lagerfeld fashion label is owned by the British investment fund Apax Partners, who has aided the brand's international development. Karl Lagerfeld currently has two concession stores in Harrods and Selfridges, as well as stores in Amsterdam, Paris, Munich, Berlin, Antwerp, Beijing and Shanghai.
