This news comes as Debenhams launches its latest designer collaboration with fashion designer Markus Lupfer who has teamed up with model and presenter Donna Air on a new designer childrenswear collection aimed at girls aged 4-14.
Anne Deegan, head of personal shopping services at Debenhams, said: “The number of personal shopping appointments for children over the last year has doubled. Busy mums don’t always have time to keep up with the latest fashion trends, so our style experts make it easy for kids to look cool without breaking the bank.
“There has been increasing demand for affordable kids clothing with a designer label, so much so that over half of all children’s clothing sold at Debenhams is from our designer collections.”
The twelve-piece debut ‘donna & markus by markus lupfer’ collection launches exclusively in Debenhams from November 26, and the retailer has already confirmed that the duo are finalising designers for a wider spring/summer 2013 collection, due to launch in stores in March 2013.
