Core American designer, Michael Kors, looks set to revolutionise London luxury shopping. He will open his Regent Street store next week, having just opened his first in Paris, but the new London hotspot will offer a selection of affordable fashion and

lifestyle items mixed in with exclusively designed new pieces.

In a lifestyle concept style, a Kors spokesperson explains, “The point of the shop is to mix things up and nowhere does this like the UK. The simple truth is lots of designers talk about this but not a lot actually do. It'll be a fun, light and quick way of getting the Michael Kors experience under one roof."

His first flagship opened here on Bond Street last April but the new Regent Street offering is set to attract an eclectic mix of customers and aims to cash in on the current UK fashion obsession with mix and match and the high-low end mix.

Kors is one of New York’s most respected and long standing designers – famed for his casual yet glamorous pieces and the versatility of his designs - which he expects will fit with the wardrobes of the discerning British fashion set.

Additionally Michael Kors celebrates its 30th anniversary this year with celebrations expect to span Paris, New York and London.

Sources declare, ‘Michael isn’t concerned about looking back though. It’s about moving forward and keeping the brand in line with today’s fast paced consumer.’
