In August the NEC Birmingham halls will be transformed into one of the largest fashion events for trade fair Moda. From 8-10th August, Moda will showcase over 1450 brands including lingerie and swimwear, footwear, womenswear and accessories

and menwear. This season's edition of Moda Lingerie and Swimwear sees the introduction of the new Collections area. The area brings together a selection of design-led and niche brands around such as Jamu Australia, 2wenty8, Playful Promises, Slinky Dip, French hosiery brand Cervin and Fair Play.

Several lingerie and swimwear selected Moda to display their new designs. For example, visitors will find the new Charnos and Lepel collections, which oozes glamour in black stretch satin. Lepel’s bestselling Fiore style will make a new introduction in the violet colour way. With a line up consisting of Freya, Fantasie, Elomi and Fauve, the lingerie, swimwear and loungewear collections on the Eveden stand should not be missed. The Edith collection is part of the Freya Lounge range, which encompasses a camisole top and nightdress, both featuring a secret support panel, adjustable straps and a V shape neckline for comfort and shape.

A new launch this season is lingerie and swimwear label Letters From Evie, which is from the Ballet stable. It's a British influenced, vintage brand that covers sizes 32-38, B-E cup. A highlight of the lingerie collection is Sweet Nothings, a padded balcony bra and co-ordinated brief. Gossard returns to Moda celebrating 110 years in business. Collections have been reinvented and reintroduced back into the range. Key trends for the brand this season are Romantic, Cool Candy Girl and Stay in the Loop.

When Triumph showed at February's debut edition of Moda Lingerie & Swimwear, it was the first time it had shown at a UK trade show for many seasons. The brand returns to the NEC in August with a range that is supported by a strong collection of point of sale and merchandising material.
