Coming February will see the largest men’s footwear selection at Moda. New brands will include Po-Zu For Timberland, Bamboo A, and Deakins. With the new arrivals including urban and casual names, the fair brings a more directional feel to

the Life zone. US heritage label Original Penguin will debut this season, whilst eco-brand Po-Zu will launch both its own mainline range and a brand new capsule collection of recyclable shoes and boots produced in collaboration with Timberland.

Northern footwear star Nicholas Deakins will be showing its young fashion line Deakins, with fellow Brit brands Bamboo A and Front. Anticipation on the boat shoe trend, original boat shoe brand Sperry Top-sider is also back at Moda, alongside US label Keds.

After making its
show debut in August Tommy Hilfiger will be back again in February as part of plans to target specialist footwear stores with its AW11 range. Italian giant Geox also returned last season and will be back, showing alongside casual favourites including Rockport, Kickers, CAT Footwear and Hush Puppies.

Moda Footwear will also play host to established names across the show’s Essential and Life zones, with British classics taking part in February 2011 including the likes of Barkers, Cheaney and Loake. All three will be showing new contemporary designs alongside established classics, and highlighting traditional workmanship and high quality materials.

Brand new is the British Footwear Association’s ‘Made in Britain’ initiative. Showcasing UK’s footwear manufacturers, the platform is designed to encourage more footwear brands to produce their
collections in Britain.
