Nectar, the UK loyalty card scheme provider, has launched its first online fashion site showcasing more than 50 fashion brands. The site will reward collectors with two Nectar points for every £1 spent. Debenhams, House of Fraser, Gap and All Saints are

all backing the venture; they have agreed to offer double points on purchases in a launch celebration.

Top features include a facility for shoppers to store their favourite items in their own online wardrobe until they are ready to buy, and fashion news updates to help them keep up-to-date with all the latest trends.

James Frost, marketing director at Nectar said: “We’re always looking for ways to help our customers boost their Nectar points balance in ways which are relevant to their lifestyles. Women are now shopping online for fashion more than ever before, so we’re delighted to be able to launch a service which rewards them for doing so.”

He added: “Our plan is to continue to grow the site over the coming months and years to house even more retailers, allowing women to collect Nectar points at even more of their favourite stores”.

The Nectar Card scheme was relaunched in the summer of 2007 to celebrate five years of the card. In 2010 , Nectar announced that it had overtaken Tesco Clubcard to become the UK's most popular loyalty card.
