Diesel has been recognised for its ‘We Are Connected’ campaign that featured wheelchair bound model Jillian Mercado in the Responsible Fashion category, alongside Asos who have been shortlisted for its plus size range Asos Curve. While department store Selfridges has been nominated for The Beauty Project in Responsible Beauty category.

Caroline Nokes MP, chair of the APPG on Body Image, said: “This year’s awards come at an exciting time for body confidence as we unveil a new national movement that aims for everyone in the UK to be body confident.
“As our shortlist shows, so many organisations are making headway in this space, but in order to truly make a difference we need to bring it all together and unite our expertise and knowledge. I would like to congratulate all our shortlisted nominees for contributing to such a complicated and personal issue, and wish them all the best for the evening.”
Other nominees include The Guardian, Lancome, Cosmopolitan and Breast Cancer Care.
The awards on October 16 will feature presenters including Gok Wan, paralympian Stef Reid, fashion commentator Caryn Franklin, columnist Viv Groskop and comedienne Juliette Burton.
