London-based U Clothing has opened its first stand-alone boutique in Warsaw, Poland. The luxury streetwear brand has opened in the prestigious Mysia 3 loft-style mall in a 65 square meter retail unit opposite COS in the city's centre.

The
new store features both its mens and womens collections of pared-down, utility-inspired separates. It will also showcase collections specifically designed for its own retail network and new e-shop, that are not sold via its distribution or wholesale channels.

This will allow the company, which is under creative direction of Rafal Antos, to showcase an everyday wardrobe of beautifully-made pieces, but with cutting out the costs of wholesaling. It will therefore allow for attractive price points on items that would normally be much more expensive.

U Clothing chose the location of its first boutique in Warsaw as it is one of the most exciting capital cities in Europe, quickly developing into a hub of fashion and creativity.

The company's managing director, Don-Alvin Adegeest, stated "a similar retail unit in London, adjacent to other well-known brands, would be unaffordable, with the lease terms not manageable for a small, emerging label. By having our own retail outlet we can communicate directly with our customer and further develop and tailor our ranges."

Mysia 3 officially opens its doors on October 3rd, with three floors of fashion, art events and the launch of its new penthouse bar.
