Adidas X Opening Ceremony

New York retailer Opening Ceremony has unveiled its latest collaboration with sportswear brand adidas in celebration of the up-coming Olympic Games with a premium capsule line inspired by the brand’s adidas Originals iconic silhouettes.

The autumn/winter 2012 capsule collection is an ode to Olympic sports and has borrowed elements from swim and cycling attire, combined with 90s street attitude to produce a range of sporty separates, bathing suits and footwear.

The mostly unisex collection uses a range of dynamic fabrics including dry-swim spandex, neoprene, nylon twills, and reflective finishes. For girls, there are sleek body-con dresses, halter tops, and peplum dresses, while for the boys, crisp chambray shirting, French terry polos and oversize neoprene parkas round out the Olympic-inspired collection.

The adidas Originals X Opening Ceremony collection will be available at the Opening Ceremony pop-up store, which will be opening in Covent Garden from July 19.
