Asos x House of Hackney

Online retailer Asos has teamed up with East London-based brand House of Hackney to launch a capsule collection, named 'Dalston Tart.'

Co-founder of House of Hackney, Frieda Gormley explains that her love for “the grungy Dalston girls, and the fashion students who live in the area” are an ongoing source of inspiration for her and heavily influenced the collection for Asos.

She adds that both her and her partner “feel like the House of Hackney handwriting is perfect for the Asos girl, so there wasn't much to adapt in terms of aesthetic.”

The collection offers a mix of tartan and velvet dresses and flowery print T-shirts mixed with ripped jeans and dungarees. 'Dalston Tart' is currently available on Asos.com.
