British heritage label Barbour International has announced the continuation of its collaboration with premium Australian label Deus Ex Machina for its Spring/Summer menswear collection 2015.

“Barbour International is based on our brand’s motorcycling heritage of over 75 years and it’s great to have the opportunity to collaborate with another motorcycle brand with such an unrivalled reputation,” commented Ian Bergin, head of menswear at Barbour.

“The two brands are very compatible – we take Barbour’s established and distinctive biker style and inject it with the unique essence of Deus Ex Machina. The result is a summer collection that you just want to wear again and again.”

For its second season, the collection has taken its inspiration from 'wheels and waves,' which resulted in key pieces such as jackets made of beeswax waxed cotton and Hawaiian short sleeved shirts in a series of colorful prints.

“Deus Ex Machina is a brand relatively new to the market, therefore collaborating with Barbour International for our second collection is a real pleasure,” added Dare Jennings, founder and owner of Deus Ex Machina.

“Bringing together both our mutual admiration for one another as well as our individual heritages within motorcycle culture has given us the opportunity to highlight our strengths and put them into the collection. We are excited to see the market reaction with the collections also available in all Deus flagship stores.”

The Barbour International x Deus Ex Machina Collection is set to launch at selected stores around the world February, 2015.
