British fashion label Basso & Brooke has announced the launch of Basso & Brooke Studio, a menswear line featuring casual men's apparel and accessories.

Helmed by design duo Bruno Basso and Christopher Brooke, the former Fashion Fringe winner’s have been on a bit of a hiatus as of late, and now we know why, as their new menswear line has taken more than 18-months to develop.

"Menswear is a natural progression for our label and since the very beginning is something that has been requested over and over. This label is more of a design label rather than just being restricted to fashion," Basso told Vogue. "It's our laboratory for experimenting - everything that has a surface can be printed."

The label features the London-based duo’s signature aesthetic and of course centres around the label’s innovative use of digital prints, with new signature prints including the ‘Mikado’, the ‘Power Rainbow’ and ‘Vitraux’.

Launching for Autumn/Winter 2013, the new apparel line for men consists of wearable, street and casualwear including sweatshirts, T-shirts, polo shirts, vests, blazers, casual jackets and knitwear.

Basso & Brooke Studio will be marketed and sold worldwide through a wide variety of different retail points, and the duo is relaunching its website in September to feature an e-commerce site with over 200 products available for worldwide delivery.

In addition to menswear the label will include interiors and lifestyle items such as soft furnishings, lampshades, scented candles, and art posters, as well as iPad cases, stationery and bags.
