Tony Award winner Frances Ruffelle brings glamour to Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The West End star will perform at the Festival’s newest venue Pleasance Ghillie-Dhu from 4-30th August except Tuesdays. For one night only, actress turned designer Sadie Frost will join her friend on stage to perform a duet entitled My Best Friend.
Frances Ruffelle will hit Edinburgh with her six-piece band and an array of songs. She starred 25 years ago as the original Éponine in Les Misérables – for which she won a Tony Award. Her distinctive sound has continued to captivate many audiences over the years.
A charismatic and vivacious performer, Beneath the Dress is an alluring exploration of Frances Ruffelle’s musical influences from giants such as Porter, Ellington and Weill, to some lesser-known song writing talents.
