For the second collaborative collection between sneaker label Converse and Parisian fashion house Maison Martin Margiela, the two companies decided to extend the original concept for its first collection: white overpaint on sneakers.

The second collection features Converse classics All Star Chuck '70 and Jack Purcell shoes in soft leather. The styles each come in two colors, a vivid red or blue that have been handed paint in white, and with time will reveal the hidden colors underneath as elegant cracks appear in the paint's surface.

“We’re pleased to offer a new expression of such a great collaboration between Converse and the Maison,” commented Maison Martin Margiela. “The story of two like-minded brands continues with the evolution of the sneaker collection where personal expression is at the forefront, revealing the expression of vibrant colors shining through an incognito white coat that ages with time.”

The first collection between the two companies was launched last September, which also showcased the Belgium designer hand painting Chuck Taylor All-Stars. The second, limited edition collection is set to go on sale on this Friday at selected Converse and Maison Martin Margiela stores, with a suggested retail price of 250 dollars.
