Dr. Martens X Bonpoint

The current punk exhibition at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art seems to have inspired a new generation of the trend.

British cult brand Dr. Martens have announced it has collaborated with high-end childrenswear company Bonpoint on an exclusive capsule collection.

Children's versions of the classic Dr. Martens punk boots will be available from August, in Bonpoint stores. The leather models in patent black and cherry red will be available in stores or online at Bonpoint.com from August.

The highly recognised leather boots with yellow stitching and air-filled soles have become a contemporary essential since their launch. In 2000, designers Paul Smith, Jean Paul Gaultier and Vivienne Westwood created one-off pieces to celebrate the boots' 40th anniversary.
