Lingerie and swimwear brand Freya has launched a new collection of swimwear that helps to save the rainforest. The brand’s new swimming costume and tankini set features Sensitive® Life Soft material from the SensitivEcoSystem® by Eurojersey, a scheme that works to protect and save the world and its habitat with the World Land Trust.

With only 7% of Atlantic rainforest remaining, SensitivEcoSystem® works to save this rainforest and wildlife habitats, and for every Freya swimming costume or tankini set made, half a meter of Atlantic rainforest is saved.

Key features of the new line includes quick drying and chlorine resistant properties, as well as performance benefits such as built in sports bra support with soft inner cups made from rigid simplex ensuring optimum support and comfort. The new swimsuit and tankini benefit from a crossover racer back with swimwear clasp and back wing which is powernet for anchorage and support.

The collection launches in black with flashes of red and mocha with aqua accents, and the swimwear is available in sizes 30C up to 40H and the tankini up to a 38H with matching short XS-XL.

Ann-Marie Manley, from Freya said: “As the UK’s largest lingerie and swimwear manufacturer and designer, we’re very excited to be the first swimwear brand to have teamed up with SensitivEcoSystem® program.  We hope this will encourage others to think about how they can protect the rainforest and its habitat.”
