Fred Perry x Southsea Deckchairs

Iconic sportswear and streetwear brand, Fred Perry, has teamed up with British manufacturer Southsea Deckchairs to launch a summer capsule collection.

Southsea Deckchairs was established in 1982 and is known for its striped deckchairs and deckchair fabrics, which can be seen along the British coastline. Stephen Davies from Southsea Deckchairs told Strong Island about how the partnership came to be: “They approached us last year to see if we wanted to work with them on fabric design [inspired by] block stripes, retro, mods and rockers."

The capsule collection consists of shirts, dresses, shoes and bags which feature Southsea Deckchairs original striped and color patterns and detailing such as wooden button fastening. Key items include the Holiday stripe shirt for men, priced at 70 pounds and the Holiday Stripe Shirt Dress for women, for 100 pounds.

The collaborative collection launched last week and is currently available at selected Fred Perry stockists and online on Fred Perry website.
