Italian fashion house has introduced its GG Flag Collection, an exclusive line of t-shirts and accessories to celebrate Unicef's ‘Schools for Asia’ initiative.

To mark its seventh year of partnering with the humanitarian group, Gucci’s creative director, Frida Giannini has designed a series of patriotic t-shirts, handbags and zip-around wallets, which all feature the interlocking GG logo, with the colours of the different national flags from around the world.

As well as making an inaugural donation of 350,000 Dollars, Gucci will also donate 25 percent of the proceeds, which will be donated to the educational initiative and will fun programs across Asia and the Pacific.

Giannini, honoured in 2011 by the U.S. Fund for Unicef at the inaugural Women of Compassion Luncheon, said: “As combinations of colours are symbolic in flags, representing ideals, this new collection further signifies Gucci's continuous commitment to improving the quality of education in the most disadvantaged areas and for the most vulnerable children. I am proud to support these important initiatives as an education is a gift forever.”

The flag designs will be available in the UK, US, Germany, Italy, and Russia.
