Hirst Skull Scarves for McQueen

To celebrate the tenth birthday of the iconic skull scarf created by British designer Alexander McQueen, artist Damien Hirst designed 30 limited edition scarves for the namesake fashion house. The beautiful designs were revealed to the public this week and go on sale tomorrow in selected stores.

The two designers share more than just their fondness for skulls, they also have a similar aesthetic vision that is reflected in their use of symmetry, geometric forms and subtle references to nature. Apart from skulls, the scarves also feature butterflies, beetles and spiders in array of colours. The scarves can be seen on the website of Alexander McQueen and price ranges from 340 euros to 785 euros per scarf.
