Hudson Jeans futurist denim

American denim brand Hudson Jeans is launching a futuristic capsule collection for Spring Summer 2012.

The collection, called Loulou, is a line of cropped super skinny jeans that come in shades of navy, burgundy or olive, but the real selling point is its phosphorescent, glow-in-the-dark satin tuxedo band jeans. Inspired by the classic tuxedo, these jeans also come in a print invasion of cosmic colours. Perfect for the nocturnal fashionista.

The collection will launch during New York Fashion Week, with artist Aakash Nihalani transforming some of the walls and streets of the infamous Meatpacking district to reflect the flashy colors of the collection.

Casualwear retailer Scoop, a long time fixture in the Meatpacking district, will host the event, with socialites Leigh Lezark and Harley Viera-Newton taking orders.

Georgia May Jagger is currently the face of the brand.
