London-based international fashion label, Karen Millen, has partnered up with British actress Sophie Turner, to launch its Autumn/Winter 14 campaign. Sophie Turner, who is currently best known for her role as ‘Sansa Stark’ in the hit series Game of Thrones, is the main face of Karen Millen’s Autumn/Winter 14 campaign, which aims to celebrate London style and creativity. The campaign was intentionally shot in and around East London, where Karen Millen’s design studio is located.

The campaign was dreamt up and brought to life by an all British-talent team, as Karen Millen aims to tap into the increasing demand for British creativity and design expertise across the global. It was shot by award-winning film maker and photographer, Glen Luchford, and showcases up and coming British models Lara Mullen, Rosie Tapner and Brogan Loftus. The new campaign is also the brand’s third collaboration with Katy England, leading British stylist.

"The campaign is a celebration of the creativity, craftsmanship and inspiration which is on our doorstep and reflected in our stores and collections all around the world," said Gemma Metheringham, chief creative officer for Karen Millen. "It brings together a team of the best of established and emerging British creative talent."

Karen Millen will also host a ‘Tailored in London’ pop-up atelier in its flagship store in Knightsbridge beginning from September 1, as part of the new campaign launch to coincide with London Fashion Week. The pop-up atelier will offer customers the opportunity to personalise curated items and witness Karen Millen's design team at work.

Customers who are interested in creating a made to measure garment at the pop-up atelier will be able to book an appointment before hand. The pop-up studio follows on from the temporary tailor stands Karen Millen opened in department store Selfridges last year August.

This new campaign is part of Karen Millen’s ongoing strategy to become the leading accessible luxury fashion brand for women all over the world. The campaign is said to follow on from the opening of the label's flagship stores in Knightsbridge, London, which opened this May, and New York's 5th Avenue opening earlier this month. Karen Millen aims to open additional stores in Mexico, Norway, India and Taipei later this year.
