Karl Lagerfeld honors Cat

Iconic designer Karl Lagerfeld has launched a new feline-themed accessories line. The muse for this collection is the designer’s beloved cat, Choupette. The line features a knitted hat with cat ear details, iPhone and iPad cases in the form of a cat, finger-less gloves, a cat-formed leather tote bag, a cat-print scarf and kitty shaped key chain. The price is set to range from 45 euros for the kitty cap, to 340 euros for the leather tote.

The pampered cat was previously featured in the designer’s collaborations with Italian artist Simone Legno, the creator of tokidoki, for Net-a-Porter and Japanese artist Shin Tanakas, who created limited edition Lagerfeld origami dolls. Choupette’s collection goes on sale November 13 in Karl Lagerfeld stores in Paris, Berlin, Munich, Amsterdam, Beijing, Shanghai and Antwerp.
