Topshop has unveiled the full Kate Moss comeback collection for spring/summer 2014 ahead of its eager anticipated launch on April 30.

The collection which is seen as more “luxurious” is divided into four design categories: Balearic dressing, pyjama dressing, cocktail hour and tailoring noir, and for the first time the collection will also be sold online at Net-a-Porter.com and in Nordstrom stores as well as in all Topshop stores and online at Topshop.com.

Many of the items are based on the model’s wardrobe, such as the statement weave waistcoat, as well as vintage-inspired pieces that she herself often looks for when shopping in second hand stores. According to Moss, these pieces when found are can be threadbare, or with embellishments falling off, so it was important to her that these items were re-created and added to her collection this season.

Highlights from the collection includes suede runner shorts, available in olive and black, which feature tiny braid detail down the sides, a deep blue coloured fringed jacket, based on the one she has worn to three Rolling Stones concerts and refers to as her "gig jacket", high-waisted Oriental-inspired flower printed trousers, and heavily embroidered crochet lace dresses. In addition, there is also a hand-beaded dress that will be an online exclusive to Topshop and Net-a-Porter that will retail for 600 pounds.

Commenting on her return to the highstreet, Moss said: “I have really missed being involved in the design process, and working with the team at Topshop. I am very excited to create a new collection that bears my name. Now more than ever with London being at the forefront of fashion as it feels like I’m back home working with Topshop.”

Sir Philip Green, owner of Topshop, added: “I am personally thrilled that Kate wanted to come back to Topshop to work with us again. The first time around was such a lot of fun and she has been sorely missed.

“The Topshop business has developed extensively around the globe since we launched with Kate in 2007, and we’re proud to be selling the collection in 38 countries world-wide where Topshop has a presence.”
