Quintessentially English fashion and lifestyle brand Laura Ashley has launched their first luxury boutique hotel, Laura Ashley The Manor.

As part of the brand’s 60th anniversary, the retailer is following in the footsteps of Missoni, Bulgari and Armani into the hotel industry, with the opening of its first hotel. A converted mock Tudor mansion just outside London that has been decorated using the brand’s home collections.

Bought last year for 5.8 million pounds from Corus Hotels, the boutique hotel in Elstree, Hertfordshire features 49 rooms and suites, which cost up to 500 pounds a night, and each has been renovated to showcase the brand’s prints and products.

A spokeswoman told The Guardian: "It's a shining example of Laura Ashley. We have our catalogues in every room. It sells the design service and what you can achieve.

"We wanted to showcase the modern Laura Ashley through creating a light and contemporary interior. People don't realise what we offer."

Prices start from 150 pounds for a standard room up to 500 pounds per night for the most luxurious, premium suite.
