LFW: Maarten van der Horst SS13

Maarten van der Horst is one of the leading Fashion East designers who this season showed his SS13 collection at 50 St James.

Van der Horst, who hails from The Netherlands but studied at Central Saint Martins, showed gauzy trenches and asymmetric tops printed with plastic carriers, as well as workwear swathed in Swarovski.

Van der Horst debuted his SS12 collection at Fashion East, focussing on tailoring and feminine detailing whilst remaining true to his signature flattering boxy silhouette. The collection was bought by stockists including Opening Ceremony in the USA, Edition in Japan and Selfridges in the UK and has been featured in Vogue, i-D and Elle.
