Mulberry’s creative director Emma Hill showcased her final collection for the fashion house for Spring/Summer 2014 with a line inspired by her favourite English themes - Sixities London and English country houses and gardens.

An English country garden, complete with fresh flowers and an astro turf floor, framed the catwalk, which saw the first appearance of model Cara Delevingne at this season’s London Fashion Week.

The collection itself presented silk dresses featuring this season’s carton floral print, pyjama suits, silk jacquard coats, wide-leg trousers and leather and calf panelled T-shirts and coats. Hill has also refreshed the twinsets with the seasonal floral worked into a mix of statement textures.

With regards the bags, the SS14 collection featured refreshed Willow and Baywaters bags, as well as the new Kensal, named after the brand’s London roots, the boxy shoulder bag was presented in red and grey colourways.

Hill officials leaves her post as creative director today, and there has been no word on her next role, however the designer did state in an interview with The Telegraph that she wouldn’t be “dropping off the face of the earth”.
