Liberty’s an artisan fashion affair

From 3rd September until 8th January 2012, the Gemeente Museum in The Hague (the Netherlands) will host 'Fashion and Arts, an Affaire' exhibition. On show is a selection of Liberty designs, and pieces by Sonia Delaunay, Else Schiaparelli, Yves Saint Laurent and Givenchy. The exhibition gives an overview from 1900 when women started to wear the more liberating fashion designs. This new fashion coincides with the evolving arts movements of that time.
