Lulu Guinness Christmas tree

This week British accessories designer Lulu Guinness unveiled her Christmas tree for the Brown’s Hotel in London. Taking inspiration from her recent collections, the designer decorated the tree with her distinctive signature Dali-esque lips with her glitter lip coin purses acting as baubles and a clear perspex red lip clutch finishing off the look at the top of the tree.

“I was thrilled to be asked to design the Christmas tree. Brown’s is such a fabulous mixture of traditional and modern and I am a big fan of Olga Polizzi, the director of design,” said Guinness.

In recent years the hotel has worked with Nicholas Kirkwood and Paul Smith to create a fashionable Christmas tree and this year the designer was chosen for her strong links to the hotel and the fact her store in Burlington Arcade is only a short walk away.

As well as designing the tree, Guinness also worked with the hotel’s in-house florist to create displays around the hotel incorporating her signature lip clutches.
