Markus Lupfer for Asos

Markus Lupfer has teamed up with online retailer Asos as guest designer on an affordable leather collection. The capsule range features a graphic printed skater dress, leather trousers, a biker jacket and accessories in a colour palette of black, navy and orange.

"The pieces are contemporary, fun and easy-to-wear - a combination of separates that go right through from day to night, and have something for everyone, which is something I always try to provide," the London-based designer told Vogue UK. “The leather elevates the feel of things to a more luxury place and gives the very wearable pieces a slightly more special edge."

This is Lupfer’s latest high street collaboration: the knitwear designer is also producing a capsule collection for contemporary womenswear retailer Whistles, and a childrenswear collection for Debenhams with model and TV personality Donna Air. "It's a really great way to get our brand to a different audience and a challenge to provide for a new market, and you get the chance to work with some lovely people,” Lupfer stated.

Prices range from 85 pounds for a clutch bag to 200 pounds for the biker jacket.
