London-based label Preen by Thornton Bregazzi is the latest name to launch a childrenswear collection. Following in the footsteps of Roksanda Ilincic and footwear label Charlotte Olympia, Preen is to debut a collection for girls aged 2-8 with a pop-up store in Selfridges Oxford Street this weekend.

Called ‘Mini Preen’, the collection incorporates the floral prints from the label’s mainline resort 2014 collection, and features printed dresses, pleated bell skirts, hooded sweatshirts and cocoon coats. The prices for Mini Preen pieces range between 70 and 295 pounds.

"We have two daughters - one-year-old Blythe and Fauve, who's five - and we just wanted to shrink our adult clothing down to mini versions," Justin Thornton, one half of the designer duo told Vogue. "Getting the fit took a while, but we have a very willing fittings model at home! The best was seeing how absolutely adorable our designs look in miniature."

Launching exclusively in Selfridges with a pop-up on Saturday, January 25, the collection will also be stocked at Mon Petit in New York, Boutique 1 in Dubai, Club 21 in Singapore, and online on childrensalon.com.
