Peter Jensen for People Tree

London-based Danish designer Peter Jensen is teaming up with ethical fashion brand People Tree on a five-piece capsule collection.

Known for his use of graphic prints and contemporary shapes, the capsule line comprises of dresses and t-shirts featuring quirky cat and soldier prints, and follows on from the successful collaborations with other designer brands including Orla Kiely, Richard Nicoll and Vivienne Westwood.

Commenting on the inspiration behind the collaboration, Peter Jensen, said: “Growing up in Denmark of course I am very conscious of the need for recycling – it’s part of the culture. In fact working with People Tree is opening my eyes to new things and I love to learn. I open up my mind and see if that is a path that our company can do more. That is a great aspect of doing collaborations.

“In Scandinavia, there has just been a fashion conference on social and environmental justice. I think it’s time to take stock. I think we’re responsible for the strange weather that we see today.”

The limited edition collection, which has been produced from 100 percent organic cotton, will be available online from December 17, prices start from 45 Pounds.
