Phillip Lim comic

Fashion designer Phillip Lim has created his own comic book to coincide with the launch of his latest collection, which was inspired by graphic comics such as Sin City and V for Vendetta and "the neo-noir heroines" that feature in them.

The one-off comic, Kill The Night, which has been co-written by comic legend John Ostrander, and drawn by artist Jan Duursema, who is best known for illustrating the Star Wars series, will launch on September 6 to coincide with Vogue’s Fashion’s Night Out.

According to the statement from the brand, "The comic book became the natural medium to tell this story. It’s a story of duality and metamorphosis, day and night, black and white, love and betrayal. Things are not what they seem. Look again."

The comic will be exclusive to the Phillip Lim boutique in New York as well as online, and customers on Fashion’s Night Out will receive a signed copy of the comic book with every purchase.
