CFDA-award winning fashion brand Public School, designed by duo Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow, have teamed up with LA-based accessory brand, Killspencer on their first bag collection.

Public School who have made their mark on the fashion scene with their streetwear-inspired menswear collection, have created two limited-edition unisex bags, a weekender and a backpack.

Both pieces will be available on their respective websites and comprise of pressed Italian matte leather, which was used in Public School’s Autumn/Winter collection, as well as nylon webbing, and Riri zippers, while the interior of the bags feature IFAC class 1 fire retardant and waterproof black nylon lining.

“We are longtime fans of Killspencer so when the opportunity came to collaborate, we did so happily. It made sense for us. It was the perfect meeting of east and west coast companies who came together to create two USA-made pieces that we hope our customers will enjoy,” said Chow and Osborne.

Spencer Nikosey, owner of Killspencer, added: “I have so much respect for what Dao-Yi and Maxwell have built in the last couple of years. I've been a fan of their work since they started. I think both our brands explore the limits with materials, manufacturing processes and details.

“So when Dao-Yi and Maxwell put their 'spin' on our classic Weekender Bag and our Special Ops Backpack I couldn't have been more excited.”

The Weekender retails for 850 dollars, while the Backpack is priced 575 dollars. Both are available at PublicSchoolnyc.com, Killspencer.com, and select retailers.
