If Lady Gaga was a seventeen inch resin doll, she would have most certainly been created by London-based Superdoll Collectibles, who are hosting a pop-up installation this week to celebrate their autumn/winter offering, Scarlet Ribbon Affair.

The high-end fashion dolls, known as The Sybarites, are returning home for this year’s annual showcase, after previously exhibiting internationally in Paris, Moscow and Tokyo. The intricate 1:4.5 scale installation blends extreme fashion with fine art and runs from October 21 to October 23, at Blackall Studios.

Established in 1999, Superdoll Collectibles is the work of artists Charles Fegen and Desmond Lingard. Both trained in fashion and worked for a number of high fashion and couture brands before combining their creative and technical skills with their passion for art and dolls. The company was recently commissioned to create the much-publicised Beth Ditto doll for her line of clothing in conjunction with Evans.
