The Outnet is marking its fifth birthday with an exclusive limited-edition collection of re-issued designer classics with 17 of the websites favourite brands, including Alexander McQueen, Balmain, Chloe and J.W.Anderson.

Launching on April 29, the birthday collection includes Alexander McQueen’s patent leather bow-tie shape clutch, an Antonio Berardi figure-hugging knitted dress, a classic wedge sandal designed by Chloe, a Jason Wu monochrome floral dress, and even a silk pussy-bow blouse from its own Iris & Ink label.

Stephanie Phair, president of The Outnet.com, said: “The Outnet.com has changed the way the outlet model is perceived. Brands are keen to connect with our affluent audience, resulting in us becoming a valued marketing partner. The Outnet.com’s 5th birthday exclusive collection is a testament to the strength of our on-going relationships with leading international designer brands."

Other styles in the collection includes Balmain's signature biker style T-shirt, J.W.Anderson's best-selling paisley-print top, a red rose acetate and metal necklace designed by Oscar de la Renta, Haizhen Wang’s black leather jacket from his Fashion Fringe winning collection, a blue silk printed floor-length kaftan from Issa, as well as Nicholas Kirkwood’s iconic black suede and leather cage sandals.

Shira Suveyke, vice president of global buying at The Outnet.com, added: "We are delighted to celebrate this milestone by giving our customers the opportunity to invest in a re-issued signature piece from 17 world-class designers. It was an honour to look through each brand's archive and curate a collection exclusively for The Outnet.com customer."

To launch the collection, the e-tailer, which has come a long way from being Net-a-Porter.com’s ‘discounted’ sister site when it launched in 2009, has teamed up with fashion insiders including, bloggers Garance Doré and Man Repeller Leandra Medine, Caroline Issa and model Jessica Hart for a celebratory video where they share their memories and appreciation of the designers involved.
