Amsterdam International Fashion Week (AIFW) hosted its openings soirée last night at the industrial surroundings of the Westergasfabriek.

The Dutch Fashion Week opened with Claes Iversen and his floral pieces for spring/summer 2013. Following his catwalk presentation, the Rotterdam fashion designer Marga Weimans debuted, and showcased voluminous dresses.

Today on schedule: Dorhout-Mees, Roya Hesam, Individuals by AMFI, Karssenberg-Greidanus and Lichting 2012.

The 17th edition of AIFW takes place until 15 July.
