Undies for Chinese peaches

From now on, it will be virtually impossible to eat a peach without getting a little hot around the collar. In China, consumers regularly comment on how the end of the fruit bears resemblance to a baby's soft, pink behind.

Fruit traders in China have decided to kick things up a notch for this year's local Valentines day and created the ultimate gift for the Qixi festival: a box of peaches wearing customized made panties. Pictures of peaches wearing different types of underwear have been spotted all over Twitter and Instagram for the past week, but it remained unclear who originally came up with the idea.

Now Chinese entrepreneur Yao Yuan, from Nanjing has claimed ownership of peaches in panties and is said to be getting the design patented. Yuan states that all the peaches undergarments are hand crafted and sold via his online fruit store. The sexy peaches are delivered in a satin wrapped box in a set of nine. The price for the undies bearing peaches is approximately 60 euros, or 48 pounds according to current exchange rates.
