The Victoria's Secret Show was opened by circus performers last night. Angels such as Doutzen Kroes, Cara Delevigne and Jourdan Dunn walked the annual catwalk in style at the Lexington Avenue Armory in New York City. Lingerie themes for next season: ‘circus’ and ‘angels in bloom’.
The Brazilian Alessandra Ambrosio was given the honour of showcasing this year's Fantasy Bra, worth a 2.5 million dollar. The famed piece of lingerie is redesigned every year, with the 2012 edition featuring intricate flowers and 5,000 stones.
The spectacular show included musical entertainment from Rihanna and Justin Bieber. "It's like a dream come true," said Bieber on the pink carpet before the show. "I would rather be here than anywhere in the world."
Victoria's Secret and American channel CBS, which will air the show on December 4, have each donated 1 million dollar to victims of the superstorm Sandy.
