Westwood is launching Ethical Africa, a collection of brands created using recycled canvas, reused roadside banners and unused leather cut-offs.

The collection launches this month on Asos and features rucksacks, totes and zipped clutches handmade in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi by communities of women who are affected by extreme poverty.

Classes as accessories for both sexes, the pieces feature bold motifs that Westwood is known for including her signature Orb and squiggle print, as well as an anchor print.

The collection goes on sale from Friday, January 24, with prices started at 58 pounds.
