William Tempest for River Island

LCF alumnus William Tempest has unveiled his exclusive collaboration with River Island as part of the fashion retailer’s Design Forum.

The thirteen-piece collection launches in selected River Island stores and online on October 15 and draws inspiration from ancient Egyptian mythology, 1920s interiors and the work of MC Escher.

Key pieces from the collection of evening wear separates and accessories include a sequinned chiffon shirt dress, an art deco plunge back column dress, and laser cut heels.

The exclusive collection made its debut via a short film titled ‘It Will Not Always Be Summer’ directed by Ryan Hope at London Fashion Week’s second Fash/On Film, an initiative devised by the British Fashion Council in conjunction with River Island to support and develop creative film in the industry.
