Fashion designer Henry Holland knew just what to do for this occasion. He made a 50 feet long silk gown, which measures more than 1,500 square foot wide.
Former Cirque du Soleil performer Colette Morrow was right for the job as model; emerged from a giant gift box she rose to the top of the roof, filling the space beneath it with the yellow and pink polka dot creation - which is now also the world's longest designer dress.
Henry Holland explains: "Curating the launch ceremony for Trinity Leeds gave me the opportunity to celebrate fashion in a totally unique way. I was challenged to deliver a spectacular show that would excite Leeds' shoppers and propel Trinity Leeds into the fashion spotlight."
The shopping centre has more dan 120 stores, restaurants, cafes and bars. And half of the stores are new to the city, like Apple, Hollister and Superdry.
