AS Adventure Group acquires Snow & Rock

AS Adventure Group, the company that owns the Cotswold stores, has snapped up a rival outdoor specialist retailer Snow & Rock from LGV Capital.

The acquisition will help AS Adventure to extend access to growth categories of snow, cycling and running, and in a statement the group said that Snow & Rock would work alongside its existing Cotswold Brand to develop “customer propositions across multi-activity categories”.

The two companies will have a combined turnover of 210 million pounds, which the group hopes will make it the largest outdoor retailer in the UK.

The acquisition will see AS Adventure taking over Snow & Rock’s 46 stores across the UK and Ireland, including Cycle Surgery and Runners Need brands.
