Asos launches 'Try before you Buy' for UK customers

London - Asos has launched its 'Pay Later' service to all customers in the UK today. Powered by Klarna Pay Later, UK app shoppers across the country now have the choice to buy and try any of Asos 85,000 products at home and pay later for the items they decided to keep.

Customers who place an order fro Asos via Klarna have 30 days after their order has been dispatched to pay for their purchase online, with no interest fees attached. The pay later service roll-out follows on from successful implementations of Klarna service with Asos in Germany, Austria, Sweden, Finland and Norway.

“We are constantly looking for new ways to improve the Asos experience for our 15.4 million customers around the world,” said Nicola Thompson, Global Trading Director at Asos. “We know people love the option of paying later only for the things they keep and are excited to introduce this for customers shopping on our app in the UK.”

The move comes as the British fashion etailer continues to expand its payment and shipping services to ensure it is able to offer customers the best shopping experience possible. Over the past two months, Asos has launched Style Match, a visual search tool, Asos Instant, same day delivery for customers in London and Asos make-up, part of its expanded face and body category.
