Boohoo founder’s brother gifts 30 million shares to his children
Jalal Kamani, brother of one of the Boohoo.com founders Mahmud Kamani, has gifted 30 million ordinary shares to a trust established for the benefit of his adult children.
The company said in a statement: “Boohoo.com has been notified of the following dealing in the company’s ordinary shares of 1 pence each made on June 13, 2018 by Jalal Kamani. He has gifted a total of 30 million ordinary shares representing 2.61 per cent of the company’s issued share capital.
Meanwhile, after announcing its trading update for the first quarter, Boohoo had said in a statement that Neil Catto, its Chief Financial Officer sold a total of 1,553,398 shares in the business for 2.15 pounds (2.85 dollars) each.
